NEWS & NOTES
change to the legendary QSB fuel
economy. The QSB6.7 also employs
a new fuel calibration strategy:
Unlike most marine engines, the
QSB6.7 is calibrated for optimal fuel
economy at cruising speeds, where
the engine is most often used, rather
than at wide-open throttle. The
QSB6.7 also provides more torque,
which means better acceleration and
maintained speed through turns.
The QSB6.7 is sociably improved,
meeting EPA Tier 3 emissions
standards. This new engine offers
exceptionally low cold-start smoke
levels, and significant sound
reduction at cruise and rated speeds
compared to the QSB5.9. Also, the
air-filter temperature sensor provides
peace of mind when the engine
is used in extreme temperatures.
Operationally the QSB6.7 has
improved, as the standard fuel system
is compatible with low lubricity fuels.

DRY AS A BONE
The bilges of even the most well-maintained vessels sometimes collect
fluid that causes odor and corrosion,
but with Delta “T” Systems’ new
Arid Bilge Sentry, your bilges will be
dry and protected.
Using a single control box, this
innovative system keeps all bilge
compartments dry, while logging
data that monitors irregular pumping.
Tracking the pump-out time for each
zone helps catch small leaks before
they worsen, and provides useful
information to prospective buyers
and insurance agents.
Easy to install and use, the Arid
Bilge Sentry system is comprised of
a central control enclosure, a color

powered by 110–220VAC or 24VDC.
The touchscreen is usually located
in the front panel of the control
enclosure. The low-water pickups
