PASSAGEMAKER EVENTS UPDATE
As this issue goes to print,
we are busy putting the finishing
touches on a productive and
successful boat show season.
The month of October was
particularly eventful, with PMM
hosting Trawler Fest Baltimore as
well as back-to-back East Coast
TrawlerPort events at the Annapolis
and Ft. Lauderdale boat shows.
Our second Trawler Fest in
Baltimore’s Inner Harbor proved
that this show is well on its way to
becoming a crowd favorite. With
97 exhibitors and more than 20
presenters, Trawler Fest Baltimore
is now the largest in-water boat
show in the Inner Harbor, allowing
landlubbers and circumnavigators

enjoyed near-perfect weather for all
six days of the show. As always, the
event began with the popular Trawler
Fest University, an educational and
social experience for cruisers.
In recognition of our 100th issue,
several awards were presented
at Trawler Fest. PMM founders
Bill and Laurene Parlatore were
honored with the “PassageMaker
Lifetime Achievement Award” for
their influence, commitment, and
advancement of the cruising lifestyle.
