post-cured, epoxy composite construction in the USA.
The 40z is unique. Guests and crew feel welcomed
as they “stroll aboard” thru side-opening doors at
floating dock height. For summer porch fresh-air
comfort, windshields fully open and StrataGlass side
curtains roll up in place. 14 people can easily be seated
to converse on a single level deck from transom to
wheel. In inclement weather, there’s seating for 8 in an
air-conditioned pilothouse.
Belowdecks it’s bright, cheery and spacious with a
large galley, dinette with harbor viewing ports, plus 14
other opening ports and hatches. “The perfect cruising
boat for two” has a large island berth and a truly
separate shower. Yet, sleeps 6 total with convertible
dinette and bridgedeck settees.
Time a factor? A low profile, 12' beam and lack of
brightwork on deck save and hours. Net, net: better
access to slips, easy trucking between seasonal ports, less
bridge-waiting time and only 5 minutes for a washdown.
