double stainless rollers for dual anchors. Accordingly,
the anchor locker, which has stout locking hatches,
is divided for rope and chain, and the heavy-duty
horizontal windlass will handle both.
The flybridge offers wonderful views all around, a
Stidd Admiral chair for the helmsman, and two settees
for guests. There’s a large helm console for a full
electronics suite, as there is at the helm below, and the
boat deck comes standard with a Steelhead SM800R
davit (an ES1000 is optional) and chocks. A hardtop
is available as well. A weathertight door to port leads
down to the lower helm and the interior.
With its galley, dinette, and helm on the same raised
bridgedeck, family and guests naturally gravitate to
this part of the boat. Because the counters of the galley
are kept low, visibility aft from the helm is excellent.
A starboard side door provides excellent deck access
and quick looks for those areas aft that can be partially
blocked by the deckhouse side pillar, but the large
saloon windows and the floor-to-ceiling glass panels in
the double sliding glass doors aft make all the difference.
