PASSAGEMAKER EVENTS UPDATE
pring has sprung here in
Annapolis (or so we think), and as
the weather warms we’re busy
preparing for two Trawler Fests in
new locations. We are excited about
these changes and hope you’re
making plans to join us in Warwick,
Rhode Island, and in Baltimore this
July and September, respectively.
Our return to San Diego, despite
S
the rain, was a success. “We were
delighted with the second-year
support and turnout for the San
Diego Trawler Fest,” said Rob
Dorfmeyer, PMM’s publisher and
general manager. “There were almost
as many preregistered San Diego
attendees participating in three days
of seminars, receptions, and show
as there were the previous year. The

success of this show was further
underscored by the sale of three
cruisers/trawlers and several other
intent contracts.”
PassageMaker University preceded
the event, and we extend a big thank
you to Factory Direct Yachts for the
use of a Mariner 35, Chuck Hovey
Yachts for providing a Navigator 42,
and Ocean Alexander for the use of
an Ocean Alexander 68.
At awards night, the PassageMaker
People’s Choice award was presented
to the Nordhavn 64 Sweet Hope.
As this issue went to print, we were
preparing for Trawler Fest Anacortes.
We look forward to seeing you May
20–22 (and May 18 and 19 for PMU)
in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

From Warwick we will head

by Trawler Fest Sept. 24–26.
Registration for both Baltimore

We hope you’ll join us this season
