PASSAGEMAKER EVENTS UPDATE
dancing, frozen drinks, and
Hawaiian leis provided the perfect
atmosphere for attendees to chat
with new friends while reminiscing
about the experiences of the last
few days. Awards were given to
the newest boat owners, those who
had traveled the farthest to reach
Trawler Fest, and, of course, those
who were decked out in the best
Hawaiian attire. And, after days of
casting votes, Trawler Fest attendees
selected the Queenship Passagemaker
60 as the winner of the PassageMaker
People’s Choice Award.
Lots of new experiences, fabulous
networking opportunities for
attendees and members of the
marine industry, and countless
smiling faces made Solomons 2008 a
more-than-memorable Trawler Fest.

TRAWLERPORT: ANNAPOLIS
As this issue hits the newsstands,
TrawlerPort will be taking place at
the United States Powerboat Show
in Annapolis. We hope to see many
familiar faces and meet plenty of
new cruisers at our home port.
At this year’s show, you’ll find 74
ocean powerboats in the TrawlerPort
section. Don’t forget to pick up a
TrawlerPort map and make your
way over to see everything our niche
has to offer! And be sure to stop by
our hospitality tent on C-dock to say
hello to the PMM staff and enjoy a
cup of espresso on us.
LOOKING AHEAD TO 2009
Though the busy fall season is still
in full swing, we are already gearing
up for next year’s complete lineup
of shows. Our PassageMaker Events
dates and locations are set, and we
look forward to our newest addition:
Trawler Fest San Diego, which will
take place Feb. 26–28 at the Kona
Kai Resort on Shelter Island. We
are thrilled to have the chance to
reach out to a new group of cruisers
who are eager to explore our niche
and embrace the cruising lifestyle.
