PASSAGEMAKER EVENTS UPDATE
Trawler Fest Greenport 2008
the generosity and enthusiasm of this
first-time Greenport crowd.
As we look back on Greenport,
we can happily say it was a success.
Our video crew, t2p.tv, captured the
education, the fun, and all the boats
and products of Trawler Fest. You can
relive this fabulous event by watching
the video on trawlerfest.com.
SOMETHING
FOR EVERYONE
Whether you’re in the
market for a new boat, a
used boat, a full array of
new electronics, or simply
an upgrade to your life
jacket stash, the boat shows
this fall will have something
for everyone.
Starting with TrawlerPort:
Newport, Sept. 11–14, we’ll
all be on the docks checking
out what’s new this season. This
traditional New England show leads
right into Trawler Fest in Solomons,
Sept. 25–28. Both of these shows offer
fantastic opportunities to browse, buy,
and simply spend time around boats
and fellow cruisers.
We expect Solomons to be bigger
and better than ever. Starting with
PMU, which will include two new
courses (Women-Only Navigation
and Medical Preparedness for
Cruisers), we are excited to put a
fresh twist on this flagship event. A
host of new 90-minute seminars will
get the wheels turning, and you’ll
have the chance to meet some marine
industry celebrities, including Tony
Fleming, Claiborne Young, Bob
Smith, and Steve D’Antonio. We’ll
have a full house of industry experts
on hand for you to chat with and
learn from, and the docks and tents
will be packed with boats and
products you won’t want to miss.
Visit trawlerfest.com for more details.
This year’s boat show will extend
through Sunday, and we’ll host a
festive luau Saturday evening. Bring
your Hawaiian shirt and dancing
shoes, and get into the spirit!
